Functional Testing
Functional test's are very important when determining the condition of an athlete and the severity of their injury. Primarily used as a diagnostic tool, they allow a healthcare provider to assess performance in compared to baseline level of play. Functional assessments also provide qualitative findings necessary to document progress. Observe the athlete perform tasks that may have limitations in relation to injury to the knee or thigh. Examples of some of these are listed below.
